Jack, Matthew and I were in Florida at the Bongo's Cafe. We had front row seats to the band that was playing and it was just a beautiful night.

The band had just finished playing a favorite song, Mi Tierra (Gloria Estefan) when all of a sudden the band annouced that they would be playing a ballad and invited all special couples to come up and dance.

But before the band played the ballad the lead singer said: "Before we play our balad Joaquin Pardillo has a very special question to ask Susan Monteagudo".

I nearly passed out. If Matthew had not been on my lap I may have ran out.

When I turned to Jack to ask what he had done he was already on his knee beside me asking me to marry him. There were people around us and on the second floor there were people looking down, clapping and screaming "say YES" Of course I said YES!

And then Matthew went to grab the ring.
